The Chester Grosvenor's Grade II listed building, with its black and white timbered façade, belies the modern elegance of the hotel interior. The hotel has 68 bedrooms and 12 stylish suites, all individually designed and beautifully furnished with the finest fabrics. There are two award-winning restaurants, most notably Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, previously named Arkle, which has recently undergone a gentle refurbishment. The restaurant has retained its Michelin star since 1990 and is one of just 26 restaurants in the UK to have been awarded four AA Rosettes. At the heart of the hotel is the luxury Grosvenor Spa offering traditional and holistic treatments. With five treatment rooms, a steam room, herb sauna and relaxation room, the hotel Spa offers a comprehensive list of treatments and Spa packages designed to harmonise body and mind. Chester offers an array of fun an exciting activities including, walking tours, boat trips and boutique shopping. Within 10 minutes drive of the hotel, a selection of stately homes gardens awaits.
There are four different categories of guestroom and all are individually and exquisitely decorated to the highest standard.
Classic rooms have queen-sized beds
Deluxe and Executive rooms have king beds and the majority contain a two-seater sofa and armchair. Some Deluxe and Executive rooms have an entrance vestibule and dressing area. One of our most sumptuous Executive rooms has been modified to be fully accessible for those with limited mobility.
Four-poster rooms have either brass or wooden beds with sumptuous cushions and fabrics.
There are three categories of suites: Junior, Deluxe and Master and each is full of character and personality. Spacious and adaptable, they are ideal for the honeymoon couple, the corporate executive or anyone who wants to add something special to their stay.
Regarded as the jewel in the crown of The Chester Grosvenor and Spa, the Presidential Suite has refined furnishings in subtle shades of blue and grey in the master bedroom and delicious hues of cream, coffee and chocolate in the sitting room that represents the ultimate in comfort and luxury. Situated on the 3rd floor and overlooking Chester's famous Eastgate clock, the suite features two elegant bedrooms each with its own luxurious bathroom. The suite also benefits from a large plasma TV, DVD, CD player and a study area with 'Captain's Table' writing desk and laptop with complimentary broadband.
Presidential Suite guests are greeted with canapés and a bottle of Ruinart champagne on arrival. 24-hour Room Service is also available or full butler service if requested.
