Tyler Peak, Founder and CEO of Peak Travel Group, has grown the family-run business to become Silicon Valley’s premier agency for comprehensive corporate and leisure travel management services, and ranks among the largest agencies in the region. Peak continues to oversee the development of the agency’s corporate growth into a global presence.
For more than 40 years, the Peak name has been an active part of the travel industry. In 1974, Peak started as a travel agent working for his father. Once experienced, he assumed ownership and operational duties in 1982. After a transition period where Peak worked for a large travel agency group as regional vice president, he started Peak Travel Group in 1996.
Peak’s continued success is attributed to his “High-tech, High-touch” philosophy of combining the latest technological tools with personalized service by a talented team of travel professionals. Peak Travel Group is committed to delivering the best value-add services and customized travel solutions to all clients.
Tom Walker Vice President Sales and Marketing
Tom joined Peak Travel Group in July of 2007 and has responsibility for all sales and marketing functions for our corporate services division.
Tom brings over 25 years of corporate travel experience to the Peak Travel Group, including executive level positions with Air Cal, American Airlines, Getz Travel, TQ3 Navigant and Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
As Regional Sales Manager with Air Cal and Manager of Corporate Sales with American Airlines, Tom brings knowledge of the way airlines negotiate and price their corporate travel agreements. Tom also understands how airlines view corporate buyers.
Tom brings extensive travel management experience, having held executive positions with many of the nations leading travel companies . Tom has been President of Getz Travel, a mid size corporate travel agency, Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, Western Region for TQ3 Navigant, the second largest travel management company in North America and Managing Director of Sales for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, the largest Global travel management company in America.
The combination of these experiences afford Tom a unique perspective into the challenges corporations face in developing an effective travel management program. His knowledge and experience in all areas of travel management is a great benefit to our clients.
Lisa Marciano - Director of Group Travel Division
Leading a team of 5 group specialists, Lisa Marciano has spent her entire career in the travel industry with Peak Travel Group. With her focus on the corporate aspect of group travel, meetings and incentives, Marciano specializes in contract negotiations for hotels and group airline agreements. She also offers party planning, off-site venue services and air fulfillment to clients.
Since 1981, she has worked At Peak Travel Group as both a leisure agent and manager. She also developed and oversaw the growth of the group department, handled marketing and advertising for the leisure division, and booked individual and group cruises, and incentive charters
Robin Barton - Manager, Corporate Division
After nearly two years as a corporate agent with Peak Travel Group, Robin Barton was promoted in July to manage the growing Corporate Division. She is responsible for staffing the corporate agents, customer service, and implementing and operating client and office procedures. When necessary, she steps in as an over-flow agent to assist the other corporate agents.
Barton has been in the travel industry for 20 years, working for Suntrips and as a corporate agent on large market accounts. She also spent 12 years with American Express as a lead corporate agent at the main call center before becoming the onsite coordinator for the Hewlett Packard account.

Rob Hangauer - Vice President Business Operations
Rob joined Peak Travel Group in February of 2007. In his role as Vice President of Business Operations for Peak Travel Group, Rob oversees our Sales, Operations and Account Management departments.
Hangauer's vast travel management experience encompasses 30 years in a broad range of travel positions. He spent 20 years at American Express Corporate Service in various positions including Account Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and Director of Global Accounts. Subsequently, Rob was Vice President of Operations for four years with World Travel/BTI and for the last six years he was the Divisional Vice President for TQ3 Navigant, overseeing all of operations for Northern California as well as the Regional Meeting and Incentive Division and the Sports Travel Division.
Marsha Langfuss - Director of Sales
As director of business development, Marsha Langfuss brings the vision and more than 20 years of industry experience to Peak Travel Group.
Langfuss began her career in travel in New York with P&O Cruise Lines. After moving to California, she switched to the retail side of the business and quickly made her way to top management. Over the years, Langfuss developed extraordinary contacts that allowed her to excel as a salesperson, an account manager, and consultant to hundreds of corporations, from Silicon Valley start-ups to Fortune 500 list-makers.
Since joining the Peak executive team, Langfuss has worked tirelessly bringing on several significant new accounts and developing a network of global alliances that will position the agency for the next level of corporate success. She has also launched the company’s first electronic newsletter and has provided the first of an ongoing series of extended education seminars to corporate travel managers in the area.
Nell Aiello - Director of MIS
Nell Aiello has been the director of management information systems for nearly seven years at Peak Travel Group. Her responsibilities include accounting, data base management, corporate reporting and overseeing Peak’s computer systems, PC's, networks, servers and printers.
Aiello began in the travel industry in 1994 after more than 20 years of experience as a software programmer. She worked on artificial intelligence programs for a Boston-based research and development firm that created the first email programs in the early 1970s. Aiello then transferred her programming talents to the West Coast to work at Stanford University from 1977 to 1993.
Debra Stern - Manager, Leisure Travel Division
Debra Stern was a leisure agent with Peak Travel Group for a couple of years before recently becoming the manager of the Leisure Travel Division. Her responsibilities include all aspects of vacation travel, customer service, and employee training and support.
Stern brings more than 20 years of travel industry experience to the Peak organization. She is the recipient of several honors for top sales achievement and customer service from American Express Travel where she worked for 12 years. Stern also spent seven years at the Sheraton Kauai, Hawaii, in the food and beverage area.
