The Sheraton Moana Hotel opened in 1901. In 1989 it underwent a $50 million renovation that restored this historic landmark to its turn-of-the-century beauty and old world charm. The historic Moana Hotel building is complimented by a newer adjacent tower to form the Sheraton Moana Surfrider Hotel. Guests of the the Moana enjoy a calm, elegant, quieter place reminiscent of a simpler time in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
