The Royal Kona Resort is located right in downtown Kona. It overlooks Kailua Bay and offers beautiful ocean views. The Kona Resort features an ocean-front luau, nightly entertainment, a freshwater swimming pool, a sundeck, a small sandy beach and four tennis courts. Because the hotel is located right in the town of Kona, there are many dining and shopping options all around. The Royal Kona Resort has a split-level pool overlooking the ocean and also has a shallow children's pool.
This hotel could be rated 4 stars instead of the 3- we rated it, because in our opinion it is tired and in need of complete refurbishment.
