There are dazzling live performances, thrilling games of chance, romantic cabaret acts, hilarious (and sometimes quite talented) Karaoke performances, plus dancing until you tell us when. Need a partner? One of our gentlemen hosts will be honored to spin you around the floor. Constellation Theater: Dazzling Broadway musical revues are presented the state-of-the-art, two-tiered show lounge with its full-size proscenium stage. The dynamic production shows were created by renowned producer Peter Grey Terhune. Casino: Enjoy blackjack, mini-craps, roulette, video poker, slot machines and the friendliest croupiers at sea in the elegant Casino. There are lessons, tournaments and other gaming events as well. Lounges: Watch for falling stars in the romantic Observation Lounge accompanied by the grand piano or, perhaps, a cabaret artist. Watch for falling stars, dance to live DJ music or put on your own Karaoke performance at the Stars Nightclub. Or settle into a comfortable English club chair in the Connoisseur Club and light up a hand-rolled cigar from the climate-controlled humidor. Dining: There are four open-seating main restaurants plus the Pool Grill -a surprising number for a ship of her size! Waiters recruited from some of the world's finest restaurants and hotels provide RSSC's renowned "Above & Beyond" service. A choice of fine, complimentary wine is poured nightly, or a professional sommelier will be pleased to discuss alternatives available for purchase from the Seven Seas Mariner's wine cellar. However, if you wish to savor a meal privately en suite, 24-hour room service is available. Compass Rose Restaurant: The Mariner's largest restaurant is spacious, uncrowded and absolutely stunning. Tables are arranged so that most guests have a picture window view, and thanks to the handsome etched glass partitions, you'll feel like you're dining in a much more intimate room. Menus include continental specialties as well as vegetarian and spa cuisine. Signatures Restaurant: Enjoy the cuisine of Le Cordon Bleu® of Paris, undoubtedly the most famous cooking school in the world amid the elegant atmosphere of Signatures with its white table lines, burgundy chairs and the soft glow of candlelight. Choose a traditional French specialty such as escargots or canard à l'orange or select from the Menu du Monde featuring cuisine from around the world, all prepared using the Cordon Bleu method. Latitudes: This reservations-only hideaway serves a tasty sampler menu of nouveau international cuisine in an intimate setting. Enjoy tableside preparations of showcase selections and other culinary events. La Veranda: The festive La Veranda will remind you of a delightful Mediterranean bistro. Specialties include fresh pasta and fish, and during the day, La Veranda also serves buffet breakfast and lunch. Spa & Fitness: Devotees of health and fitness will find the latest exercise equipment in the window-walled Fitness Center. In the Aerobics Room next door, professional instructors lead fitness classes, while for the perfect denouement, the Carita Spa presents an elaborate array of spa and beauty treatments for the ultimate in relaxation and renewal. Fitness Center & Aerobics Room: For health and fitness fans, you'll find all kinds of ways to work out. Almost the entire top deck is devoted to golf cages, paddle tennis and a full-circle jogging track. Fitness equipment includes lifecycles, free weights, striders, stairmasters, treadmills, weight benches, a Nautilus machine, workout mats and step benches. A fitness instructor is on hand to offer advice and to demonstrate the use of the equipment. One flight down is the expansive pool deck with its whirlpools and bar, where even on the sunniest days at sea there are always plenty of lounge chairs available. Carita of Paris Spa: Seven Seas Mariner guests have access to one of the most exclusive land-based spa operations in the world, with its unrivalled approach to spa and beauty, services are tailored uniquely to the needs of each individual. This upscale spa, whose patented techniques flow from its Parisian heritage, was founded with a single aim: to unveil "the touch of charm inside everyone with made-to-measure solutions". The Carita approach couples pleasure with effectiveness, sophistication with simplicity and research with the expertise of highly trained beauty therapists, hairdressers and nail technicians. Activities: With one of the highest space ratios at sea, there's plenty of room for all kinds of pleasurable pastimes - including some activities rarely available even in the finest resorts on land. Contract Bridge, for example, complimentary computer classes, art auctions and classes in ballroom dancing. However, to do or not to do is up to you. Guest Lecturers: On each voyage, a guest lecturer drawn from the highest ranks of the Diplomatic Service, leading universities or museums presents informal talks or slide shows about the unique places you'll be visiting. Learn about the Incas of Peru on a South America cruise, for example, or a lecture on Renaissance Florence on a voyage around Italy. Bridge Masters, Gentlemen Hosts & Computer Classes: Guests who prefer to take a cyberpath to enlightenment will find 14 computers in the Club.com, 3 computers in the Internet Café, and 2 color and 3 laser printers, all available for a nominal charge. Free computer classes include Introduction to E-mail and Advanced Word Processing and Digital Photography may also be available. Or if bridge is your game, a certified Master Bridge instructor can teach you the fine art of contract or duplicate bridge in the card room. Le Cordon Bleu Workshops: Our exclusive Le Cordon Bleu Class Culinaire is available on select sailings, a hands-on experience taught by chefs trained in the Le Cordon Bleu method of classic French cooking. There is a charge of $395 per guest for this exclusive course. Club Mariner Youth Program: Club Mariner is a program offered on several RSSC ships during the summer months and the holiday seasons. Available on the Seven Seas Mariner, the Seven Seas Navigator, and the Seven Seas Voyager, Club Mariner offers a variety of activities for children from the ages of 6 to 11 and 12 to 17. Young cruisers are divided into two age groups, and activities are designed for each group. Our Club Mariner counselors have many activities, including games, craft projects, movies, and "food fun" to make sure each child has a memorable experience. Teens help the counselor select the activities they prefer to do on their cruise. Whether cruising to Alaska, the Baltic, Bermuda, the Caribbean, or on one of our Hanukkah/Christmas sailings, young cruisers will have a fun and memorable experience to take home with them.
