The Playa Mazatlan Hotel is one of the original properties in the Golden Hotel Zone. The hotel sits on a long stretch of beach which offers a variety of watersport activities and horse-back riding from private vendors. The restaurant offers beautiful ocean views as well as great food. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed, but are basic. The Playa Mazatlan has been a favorite for many years. It remains a great choice because the hotel has been recently refurbished and is in great shape. The Hotel Playa Mazatlan is a great choice for a beach-front three-star property.
