The Zaandam was designed with the same elegance as her sister-ship the Volendam. All Holland America ships are given a theme for decoration, and the cruise line adopted a music theme aboard the Zaandam. The Zaandam has musical artifacts and memorabilia spread throughout her common areas. From guitars signed by the Rolling Stones to original scores of the classics, and other relics from legendary musicians. She offers her 1,440 cruise guests a unique shipboard musical atmosphere, inspired by the world's great musicians and composers. At the heart of the Zaandam is a huge three-story atrium complete with a Baroque-style Dutch pipe organ.
The Zaandam features beautiful spacious public rooms as well as tastefully decorated staterooms. The Zaandam offers a lots of cruise ship activities like relaxing in the Greenhouse Spa and Salon and enjoying some of the best cruise entertainment on the ocean.
