Holland America Statendam
Passenger ships bearing the name Statendam have been apart of the Holland America Line for over 100 years. This newest Statendam is the fifth ship to bear the name.
The Statendams have always provided an elegant and class cruise experience for its passengers. You can expect more of the same aboard this signature Holland America Cruise ship. She offers exquisite fine dining in Rotterdam dining room, Pinnacle Steak and Seafood House, and a casual dining experience in the Lido restaurant. The Statendam has spacious staterooms, of which 149 feature private verandahs.
The best in cruise entertainment is provided nightly in the Van Gogh Show Lounge. You can also relax in on of the quiet nooks like the Library, the Loft and the Oasis. In the center of the ship, a soaring three-story atrium showcases an elaborate 26-foot-high "Fountain of the Siren" sculpture.
The Statendam is a world cruiser. During the winter months of December, January and February she will sail on a series of 10 and 14 day cruises of Australia and New Zealand and the South Pacific. In March and April the Statendam will sail a series of Asian cruises featuring Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. Then in May she will set sail for Alaska for a summer of cruising the ever popular Alaska cruises.
