The El Cid Mazatlan was the original deluxe hotel in Mazatlan. They have since added 3 other hotels in the Mazatlan Area to create the El Cid Mega Resort. The Castilla Beach Tower was the second hotel in the El Cid family. The El Cid Mazatlan Castilla Beach Tower is a great four-star property. It has a feeling of a traditional Mexican beach resort hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of the main shopping area and also the famous Mazatlan Malecon. The hotel is across the street from the 27-hole El Cid Golf Course. The hotel also offers guests access to the complete fitness center located at the golf course. The facility is very comfortable yet is begining to get a bit tired. That being said, the El Cid Mazatlan is still one of the premier hotel accommodations in Mazatlan.
